Quad Hook Unmachined
A DIN 15402C Quad Hook (also known as a four-prong hook) is a heavy-duty lifting component engineered to German industrial standards (DIN) for use in demanding crane applications. Typically used for very heavy lifts, ranging from 160 tons up to 4000 tons, with equalized loads on all four prongs.

Applications
Quad hooks are engineered specifically for extra-large tonnage loads requiring multi-point balanced lifting. Typical applications include:
- Steel & metallurgy industry — lifting steel ladles, ingots, large slabs, continuous-casting billets and rolling-mill equipment; a core lifting device for high-capacity steel-plant cranes
- Heavy machinery assembly — generator stators, turbine rotors, pressure vessels, transformers and large gearboxes
