Single Hook Unmachined
DIN 15401‑1 single hook unmachined parts are drop‑forged or hammer‑forged hook forgings after complete heat‑treatment, without thread cutting and final precision machining.
They are semi‑finished hook blanks (available with or without nose), prepared for subsequent machining operations to produce DIN 15401‑2 finished single crane hooks with threaded shank.
– Hook forged and heat-treated
– Material: carbon, alloys
– Mechanical properties: M, P, S, T, V
– Load test: requested/recommended after machining
– Certificate: EN10204-3.1
– Standard: DIN 15401 or GB /T 10051
– Type RSN (Drop forged) for single hooks Nos. 1~12
– Type RFN (Hammer forged) for single hooks Nos. 16~250
Features
- Semi-finished forging — forged and heat-treated, but without thread cutting or final machining.
- Good internal quality — continuous metal flow lines and refined grain structure from forging.
- Machining allowance reserved — suitable for custom processing such as shank thread and dimension adjustment.
- Two options available — with nose or without nose, to suit different hook block assemblies.
Applications
- As raw blanks for crane factories to machine finished single hooks (DIN 15401-2).
- For customers who have in-house machining capacity and need custom shank length or special dimensions.
- Stock supply for manufacturers to shorten their hook production cycle.
